British Standard 8495 is a new standard relvant to digital CCTV systems being acceptable to be used in evidence in a courtroom in the UK. So ensure that the system, you are being sold is compliant, otherwise is may let you down when you most need it.

If you require a CCTV systems that the police will respond to then it mus be desinged and installed to be compliant with BS8418, ensure both the system and Remote Video Centre is compliant tothis standard.
